The Marlow Tartan Memory Foam Bolster Bed by Ralph & Co

Tartan has a way of making any room feel like a house party in the country: a fire lit, boots by the door, someone dozing happily nearby. The Marlow makes sure that someone has four legs.

Cut from a rich, traditional tartan, with deep bolster walls around an orthopaedic core, it pairs heritage good looks with proper joint support. It comes from Ralph & Co, the British bed makers, designed in Great Britain and handcrafted in Europe.

Why they'll love it

• Kind to joints. Orthopaedic memory foam contours to the body, easing pressure points and aching joints for deeper rest.
• Somewhere to lean. Deep cushioned bolster walls give the head a comfortable place to settle.
• Ready for muddy paws. An internal waterproof layer protects the foam core from spills and damp walks.
• Easy to keep fresh. The outer covers come off completely and go in the washing machine.
• Handsome and practical. Handcrafted leather handles for moving it about, a non-slip base, and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
