Some dogs come home from a walk wearing half the county. The Henley was made for them: a bed that shrugs off wet coats and muddy paws, then gives tired legs a proper orthopaedic rest while the kettle goes on.

Upholstered in a hard-wearing olive green waterproof fabric, with high bolster walls and handcrafted leather handles, it is as happy in the boot of the car as it is by the back door. It comes from Ralph & Co, the British bed makers, designed in Great Britain and handcrafted in Europe.

Why they'll love it

  • Kind to joints. An orthopaedic memory foam base contours to the body to relieve pressure points and ease aching joints.
  • Mud, meet your match. The waterproof outer fabric shields against wet coats, muddy paws and spills, and wipes clean with ease.
  • Somewhere to lean. Raised bolster walls give head, neck and back support for post-walk nesting.
  • Ready to travel. Sturdy handcrafted leather handles make it easy to carry to the car, the cottage or the caravan.
  • Easy to live with. Removable, machine-washable covers, a non-slip base and a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
