Wet paws, sandy coats, the occasional unscheduled swim. Life with a dog is rarely tidy, and the Henley is quite relaxed about that. It is the bed for the beach house, the boot of the car and the garden on a sunny afternoon.

Covered in a hard-wearing waterproof green fabric over an orthopaedic memory foam core, it looks smart and shrugs off the weather. It comes from Ralph & Co, the British bed makers.

Why they'll love it

  • Kind to joints. Orthopaedic memory foam gives superior support for hips, elbows and older bones.
  • Weatherproof. A durable waterproof green fabric protects against wet coats, muddy paws and spills.
  • Easy to keep fresh. Removable zipped covers come off for simple washing.
  • Goes where you go. Leather handles make it easy to carry to the car, the garden or a weekend away.
  • Stays put. A non-slip base keeps it steady on hard floors.
